The interior of B359LOY. Apart from the usual problems with dust, the interior is in pretty good shape with a full set of seats with the Ensignbus moquette..

Restoration

B359LOY is actually in pretty good shape for a preservation project which is half the reason why I took her on because I don't know one end of a spanner to the other. Apart from a deep clean, some minor work on the bodywork and a bit of work on the exhaust the bus is actually going quite well and obviously it is saving up the pennies for that all important repaint back into Capital Citybus colours!. At the minute there isn't an awful lot to report but I will endevour to keep this page updated with the progress on the gradual restoration to full health.

UPDATE: 03 July 07: Bus & Coach engineering are now hard at work restoring 749 to her former glory. She was started and is apprarently running well.

18th June 07: First visit for a while and she is looking really tired so its time to really get going with the restoration. Looks like 749 will make the trip down to Bus & Coach engineering by the end of the month to be transformed back into her old colours as well as getting the all important MOT. Update will come as and when :-)

30th December 06: Some work on the stop solanoid has been completed by the guys at Skylark and thankfully 749 can be switched off from the cab which will please the MOT man.
